@idfa4 It’s the only tv outlet that actually reports the truth? Its also the only outlet that David Frum said that he thought that worked for the Republicans and it turned out, the Republicans work for Fox. Its also the first outlet that ever actively participated in a political rally when their anchors hosted Tea Pary rallies across the country. They also the only ones to show Breitbart’s lies on the Fox website, his edited Acorn video and phony crowds at Tea Party rally last fall.

@mexicanhomie10 You are correct. Even though the video was edited to portray her as a racist, until the full details were reviled, it was understood that she acted inappropriately. My point is that racism will not be tolerated (which is a good thing). In addition, it was later shown that she had learned from her mistake and went back to correct it, which is a good thing.

@idfa4 I will take you on your word that you are a staunch independent, but I have to say that the right levels the un-American charge at the left all the time. I can’t recall hearing the left saying that about the right. Michelle Bachmann has said she wants to investigate all Democratic congressman to determine if they are anti-American. I can’t understand how you would get this backward.

@idfa4 The reason leftists feel they can call righties racist is because it fits with the narrative on Republicans. The narrative going the other way is that Democrats are weak on defense so Republicans play that card on Democrats all the time. Like when Bush proposed an Iraq War budget adn the Democrats questioned anything in it like the famous “Bridge to Nowhere”, the Republicans called the Democrats un-American for “not supporting our troops”.

How can it be Fox news’ fault that she was fired when all of the comments shown in the “collection” of Fox news clips, a lot of which were taken out of context, were made after she had already been fired?
Why is the left so quick to pass the blame?

@NCdawg00 Maybe it has to do with the fact that O’Reilly and Hannity were publicly demanding she get fired even after she was asked to turn in your resignation 3 hours earlier. It’s not the first, second or third time that Fox has edited video out of context. Hannity had to apologize for falsely using a video of a much smaller Tea Party event by using a video of a much larger, unrelated event – When caught red – handed by honest people, he apologized, but snarkily added, “thanks for watching”.

@youcrackpot The problem with your argument is that it is ONLY the Far leftists that always cry racism. Republicans don’t do it and neither do Democrats. It’s only far left Progressives. The far right doesn’t even do it. No Republicans or Independents say Democrats are un-American either. That’s mainstream media news telling lies or not telling the whole story. @Gold777Silver Fox didn’t edit the video. They just played what they had. Granted the whole video was released at once. I wonder why. If she was already ask to resign before the video was aired how can it be Fox’s fault?
I saw an interview with Breitbart and he said it wasn’t about Shirley Sherrod. It was about the NAACP members at that meeting cheering as she was telling how she stuck to the white man.

@cosmicforums Where is the proof that the Tea Party is racist? The incident you’re referring to involved one person, and he was kicked out of the Tea Party. As he should have been. This is not about race. It just being spun that way to distract us from the real issues. The American public is angry with Washington. This has been coming to a head for a long time, and just because there happens to be a “black” man in the White House everyone who disagrees with his policies is now a racist.

This is funny that the NotSo Young Jerk only pushes a story when Fox mishandles a story. Where were you when the DOJ drops the case against the Black Panthers AFTER they were prosecuted? When we figured out that congressmen lied about racial slurs being hurled at them where were you? Oh and btw, the Breitbart story was not about sherrod, it was about the NAACP audience cheering the racist remarks before she got to the part where she exonerates herself. Where is the story about that?

@youcrackpot I’d like to address your question. Only Breitbart knows his source. He first got the video in April and only decided to release it in response to the president of the NAACP call the whole of the Tea Party racist. Was it someone in the NAACP? Only he knows. But, I think, whoever sent him the video knew it was just a small piece of the pie. The source needs to come clean.
